Great Welsh guitarist does some lovely feedback in this energetic performance. I was cleaning up my old downloads and came across this from 2008. The video quality is poor, so I was hoping to find a better version on YT nowadays. Alas, there was none - so here's what I got all those years ago. Update - there still is a better quality version of this same video; you can find it by searching for ...

Recorded at The Spoke & Rim, University of Western Ontario in the autumn of 1980. The full show is about 90 minutes but this is all I have of it. I don't know the setlist so have put the songs in arbitrary order. If anyone can clue me into the real order please add a comment. Free from the constraints of more typical commercial broadcasts, this show features quite a bit of banter between songs.

This live-to-air broadcast is not as well-known as the CHUM-FM/CITY TV simulcast, but its blessed with no interruptions (other than my tape-flip at about the 30 minute mark) and decent sound. Teenage Head always seemed to have great sound, which is a testament to the professionalism of the band and their crew. This concert should make you rush out and buy a Marshall amp and Gibson Les Paul (or ...

Toronto Skydome concert footage, stupidly intercut with interviews. Still, its great to witness Jeff's stupendous talent unleashed in his peak period of popularity. I believe the concert was on November 2, 1989 opening for Stevie Ray Vaughan, third on the bill after Jeff Beck. The show, broadcast in early 1990, includes a club performance of the brand new single Full Circle. Sorry for the audio...

Great as Ever
Love this version
The Sloopy girl approves 🎉
Nice stumbling on to this today. They were in top form, even if Richard’s haircut and dance moves couldn’t be more mid-80’s dated. RIP Richie Teeter and Scott Kempner.
Ernie has said he was heavily influenced by Carlos Santana
Saw them at my high school in '80 or '81. Frankie Venom was a WILD MAN on stage and the whole school went wild with him, GREAT show! But THIS? He's a tired old man, 'phoning it in' only 10 years later. Very sad.

I WAS A BIG DERRINGER FAN BACK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE 70S WHEN I WAS A TEEN BUT WATCHING OLD CLIPS OF RICK HE WOULDN'T HAVE MADE IT IF IT WASN'T FOR SLOOPY ! 😂
Days of Wine and Roses
Awesome, my husband and I listened to The Champ all the time. Great memories 👏👏🤗
neim song?
Ernie is a torch and the rythm section is locked in LAMF!!!
You can feel the emotion the guitar invokes to someone that "understands."
Great gig! High energy. Never missed a beat.
Michael and Robin are an awesome duo. I watch Michael play and think 'Eddie who'?
57:17 Fucking love it X x Declan X Trev Dec singer songwriter xx respect ❤ Burton 🎉❤ good song writer XX ❤
Still the only good thing to come out of Scranton PA
Ritchie teeter, what an incredible set of lungs for a drummer. Adny admitted that he didn't totally understand Ritchie and Ritchie felt like he was not a true bloodbrother. Always loved his dark glasses. Dffd.
Remember music about love, happiness, and heartbreak?
❤

Ernest Isley is the best Soul guitarist of all time. In addition, he's an excellent Rock, Pop, and Blues guitarist as well.

The night this played on Much, I got a tape ready and recorded the replay. Excellent.
Love his singing and he is as handsome today as he was when he was young !

My boyfriend at the time came in his top down Corvette to pick me up. We were cruising on the QEW going to Ontario Place. We were a little late so we got there only to see a massive police presence. We were told turn around and go back. We were pissed to miss that show.
There’s unequivocally no doubt in my mind that they would have made it big in the USA despite the talent. They were unique and had their own style. That said, happy to have a great Canadian band.

GREAT
notice the left handed bass player is playing a right hand bass upside down
This was about at the time when I came across Jeff Healey one evening in a small Blues Cafe on Queen Street West in Toronto. I didn´t know who he was, but was impressed by this "drunk" guy who played the trumpet like I had never heard. It took me a while to get that he was blind, not drunk. He was so loved there, knew everyone. I only understood how well known he was a while later, probably when I watched Road House. A great musician! Rest in Peace, Jeff
